We stayed at the Onar suites for our honeymoon and it was by a margin our favorite place in all of the Cyclades (and we stayed at the more exclusive Milos Cove). Petros gave us the warmest welcome to this little paradise of a place. This place is truly magical, incredibly quiet (at least in May, at the start of the season), with an extraordinary view of the sunrise, delicious breakfast with local ingredients. Folegandros is a gem, and this hotel is an even rarer find, we plan to come back, hopefully more than once. Thank you Petros and Cinta for this wonderful experience.

Centrally located in Folegandros Town, the Cycladic-style Polikandia Hotel features a 21-metre heatedpool with separate children’s section and hot tub. The pool is very cute, and you always get a pool bed, even when the hotel is fully booked. The city is a 3-minute walk and has loads of great restaurants and shops. The rooms are quiet and spacious - and have mosquito nets everywhere, so no bugs in your room! In the evenings, you can go to the rooftop terrace and watch the stunning sunset. And plus: The staff & Dimitris are very forthcoming and helpful!

The large private terrace is an added joy with beautiful views of the town and the iconic Church of the Panagia.

Escape to this idyllic resort on the small island of Folegandros, in the southern part of the Cyclades. The centre of Folegandros is just 200 metres away. Free WiFi access is available throughout. Perfect location to be just steps away from the Chora, yet tucked away in a quiet corner for a restful sleep at night. Its terrace offers a beautiful view of the Church of Panagia. Pickup and drop off at the port is seamless and convenient. And we enjoyed the breakfast too! The most wonderful thing about this establishment is the lovely hotel manager who went out of the way to make sure we are adequately warm and dressed for the very windy day. He provided useful information and assisted us when our ferry got cancelled due to the high wind conditions. We stayed longer in Folegandros longer than expected but our heart is full because of the warmth of staff here :)

We had an unforgettable stay at Avaton. Our room was beautifully modern, incredibly spacious, and impeccably clean. The view from our balcony was absolutely breathtaking—truly one of the highlights of our trip. The pool and amenities were top-notch, with stunning surroundings that made it feel like a private paradise. Every morning, we were treated to a delicious breakfast, thoughtfully prepared and served with genuine warmth. The staff went above and beyond—always kind, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. We absolutely loved our time at Avaton and are already looking forward to our next visit!
