Situated in Otsu, 16 km from Enryaku-ji Temple, Yumotokan offers accommodation with a hot spring bath, a hot tub and spa facilities. The hotel was beautiful and I enjoyed the four different onsens in there. A few of the onsens (indoor) were a little on the older side, but the outdoor rock pool was spectacular. The facilities were really great. Dinner was really high quality food, although I felt a bit rushed. The breakfast buffet was spectacular.

The apartment was very clean and spacious and has everything that you might need for a comfortable stay. Aki-san is a very nice and caring host, and the breakfast was superb. Highly recommended to stay here, but it is better to have a car, which we did, and it was easy to find the location with google map.

Big space with alot of rooms/bedding for a big group. Washer and dryer for those who need to do their laundry. Big garden with an outdoor jacuzzi and sauna which we didn't had the chance to use.

With the hotel being newly opened, the facilities were spotless. I enjoyed relaxing in the outdoor pool and jacuzzi, admiring the sunset behind the Hira mountains. Dinner was a meat lover's dream, with every course bursting with flavor and perfectly paired wines. The next morning, we indulged in a breakfast made from fresh Omi vegetables, delivered via room service so we could savor it while taking in the scenic view of Lake Biwa. And the staff were all incredibly friendly.

Featuring garden views, IZA近江舞子 features accommodation with balcony, around 24 km from Sanzen-in Temple. Built in 2022, the property includes sauna and hot tub. Supplied breakfast was great. The whole facility was excellent, especially the outdoor area with sauna, hot tub and fire.

Our stay at Keshiki no Oyado - Metasequoia was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we felt the warmth and kindness of the hosts. The hospitality was beyond our expectations, with every detail thoughtfully prepared to ensure a comfortable and memorable stay. The accommodation was spotless, well-maintained, and beautifully designed, blending perfectly with the peaceful surroundings. Situated in Takashima and only 50 km from Sanzen-in Temple, FarmStayINN 母屋 Sanzaemon-tei GuestHouse Second floor Shiga-Takasima Traditional Japanese architecture house Limited to one group per day... The owner, Fujiwara, left us wanting for more. He picked us up from the station and gave us a tour of the city, as well as bringing us to a supermarket to get some food for dinner and breakfast the next day. He was incredibly sweet and helpful. The house was beautiful and the city was quiet. We could relax completely. We have nothing else to say but thanks, and we will come back!
