The villa is gorgeous, plenty of space for the 5 of us. The whoops of joy as our kids explored the place said it all! Private pool, incredible food, attentive staff, wildlife all around. On our first evening, the guides took us to the red sand beach, about a 20 minute walk away. Very beautiful. You walk past a lake with baby crocs, can spot iguanas and other wildlife. Magical. We booked a safari through the hotel, the jeep was comfortable, and very reasonably priced. They packed us a breakfast to take with. The service was outstanding. We didn't want to leave.

The place was stunning, comfortable and lovely. We had the best BBQ of our lifes❤️ Silva (manager and guide) was a hidden gem of this place. He made us feel great and assured an amazing stay! King Reach also organized a great Safari where we could see a Leopard! Important: it is very rare to see a Leopard or Elefant (we didn’t see any) in yala at this time of the year. So remember it’s possible you come back just with some crocodile and monkey pics. Still it’s not the fault of the hotel or the Safari guide/driver the animals have enough food and water to stay in the bushes ! Thank you for this great experience!

Out of 2 weeks of traveling Sri Lanka, this hotel was by far our favorite. The buildings were new, well maintained. And detail oriented. Location was green, quiet; and not too far from park. They helped us arrange a great safari trip. Food was amazing. Pool was so refreshing. But the highlight was the staff. This was rarely 5 start service from genuine and caring staff. From the welcome drinks and cool towel all the way through checkout, everything was amazing. I wish we could have stayed longer.

This is a wonderful place to stay; fantastic if you are on a budget and understand the facilities are basic. There is electricity, warm water and a comfortable bed...in a fabulous location with fabulous hosts. You will see an array of wildlife (porcupine, bats, crocs, elephants and exotic birds). Danoushka and Anousha were warm, welcoming and kind. We loved our stay here and felt part of nature. Anousha cooks delicious Sri Lankan food and Danoushka is knowledgeable about the local area; We went on a tuk tuk drive with him to see various temples and sites of historic importance - a highlight of our stay in Sri Lanka. My husband also did an early morning bird spotting safari on the back of a motor bike which enabled him to take some close shots of the abundant bird life. Jungle cabin gave us the experience of "real" Sri Lanka and, as a middle aged couple, it was an absolute pleasure to spend time with the hosts and enjoy their home. We would not hesitate to recommend this as a rustic place to stay...make the most of Danoushka's local and wildlife knowledge and...enjoy the tranquility.

Pláž Nidangala Beach je 20 metrů daleko.... The location is amazing. nice empty beach in front for a nice morning stroll. The crew is Super friendly.

Their attentiveness, professionalism, and genuine care for guests' needs made our stay truly delightful. The hotel's beautiful ambiance and top-notch amenities further enhanced our experience. We highly recommend Hotel Chaarya for a remarkable and enjoyable stay.

It is located facing a very quiet paddy field. The chirping of the birds in the morning brings a lot of relief to the mind . Since everything is made of glass in a way that does not obstruct the view, you can see a beautiful scenes from the bed. Don't forget to go to the roof top especially in the evening. The place where you were told to drink something in the evening. The worker will arrange anything you need, such as putting on a barbecue. He is very frendly.

Hotel SU kataragama poskytuje pokoje v destinaci Kataragama. Jen 12 km odtud se nachází Tissa Wewa a Situlpawwa je 22 km daleko. Tento hotel nabízí zahradu a pokoje s klimatizací a s vlastní... In short, the place was great 👍. The location was great (in a nice quiet area but still close to the city), the room was clean, the beds were comfy and the staff was very attentive. We had an issue with one of the door locks and they promptly offered us another room. Breakfast was great as well. Really enjoyed our stay, and will definitely come back.

Staying here felt like luxury for us, everything seems to be brand new and with a clean and modern furniture. Room was huge, and we didn't expect to have a bath with nice hot water. The place is very peaceful surrounded by the forest, and just 15 minutes from kataragama temple complex, which is a must see during sunset time.. I really would have spent a week just here!
