Fabulous chalet ("chalet" doesn't do it justice, perfect for those who appreciate 70's/80's architecture with high ceilings and 45 degree angles. The 12-year-old called it "awesome" and said he wanted to live there forever). Two large bedrooms each with a huge ensuite, big well-equipped kitchen and convenient in-chalet laundry. Amazing outlook from large windows in all the rooms. Thoughtfully furnished. Lovely gardens and expansive balconies. A pool house which we didn't use, but good advice from the hosts on the best hot baths in town. Really helpful communication from the hosts, timely and upbeat, nothing too much trouble.

The property is located in the southeast of Hamilton, not too far from the CBD and Waikato University. It is a convenient, comfortable, and clean place to stay and live. And the owner, Cathy, is a warm and kind lady who serves us at the House. She always helps us solve any problems we have, like showering. We can enjoy the grassland with a lovely dog, chat with Cathy, and use the larger washing room with facilities like those in luxury hotels. Anyway, an unforgettable night at Tamahere for my graduation day!

It was nice and clean. Had good size. The fireplace was a nice touch. We also enjoyed having access to the swimming pools. I also liked that it had the menus for all the restaurants in the property folder. This made it easy for us to decide where to have dinner

We loved the area the apartment was the best 1 yet since coming 2 Taupo in booking 4 a couple of nites will definitely com here wen in Taupo again and stay. Was exactly wat I was looking 4. The Tranquility and peace was awesome. Had everything in it that made it perfect. 10 outa 10 4 me

Excellent advance communication, everything as described, great local information supplied, clean clean clean, nice bedding, everything you could want in the kitchen (except a tea pot with a lid), great facilities, all in all a top accomodation at a very reasonable price.

I loved everything about this property, it's all you could want and more. It was a last-minute booking and Christina was able to accommodate us at such a late time. Amazing!

Cozy, warm, clean, spacious, luminous, lovely owner. One of the best place I've stayed. This was my base camp to explore Hobbiton, Waitomo caves and Roturoa. If I come back I would redo exactly the same!
