Daftö Resort er aðeins 5 km frá miðbæ Strömstad og býður upp á sumarskemmtigarð með útisundlaug og afþreyingarhúsi fyrir börn. Strömstad-golfklúbburinn er í 8 km fjarlægð. This place was a very happy surprise in so many ways! We really did not know what to expect from a pirate-themed resort but we had a beautiful and very comfortable room. Mid-week and off-season, we had the whole resort practically to ourselves. It is situated on the water so we enjoyed a morning walk around the property. The breakfast buffet was fabulous! I can't imagine what the resort is like during the summer, it must be crazy busy with the amusement park. But if I lived near, I would definitely take my grandkids for a couple of days.

Strandflickornas Husen invid Havet snýr að ströndinni og býður upp á 3 stjörnu gistirými í Lysekil ásamt garði, veitingastað og bar. We stayed in one of the small houses/studio by the sea with own jacuzzi. It was magnificent!! We loved our own sauna space that during summer is turned into a relaxing room with an outstanding sea view! Everything was amazing but that which touched us the most was the professionalism of the staff and of the people in charge. Specific needs/situations were met and resolved with the highest professionalism as I had yet not met before ( and I do travel a lot both in Sweden and abroad). Thank you so much to all staff and to this amazing place that made my daughter’s 21th birthday an unforgettable one ♥️ And as a touch of pure grace, we had the amazing experience to see and touch the bioluminescence of “ Mareld” that were present by the shore so close to our studio! Better we could not ask for! Will definitely come back…and not only once!

We had an amazing time staying here. What a wonderful location and view from and around the house. Perfect location if you want to go swimming, walking or discovering the surrounding area. Whether you stay inside the cosy, beautiful house, or sit outside... it's just a great place. Lovely hosts who make sure that you will have everything you need.

Haere Mai B&B Orust er með garðútsýni og býður upp á gistingu með garði og svölum, í um 35 km fjarlægð frá Bohusläns-safninu. Gististaðurinn er með aðgang að verönd og ókeypis einkabílastæði. We had a personal and warm welcome by our hosts Jenny and Peter. We had a small, cosy, and perfectly equipped house of our own. Peter gave excellent tips what to see and where to go. Jenny offered us a delicious and very special breakfast. The B&B also provided complimentary brand-new kajaks which we made use of in the nearby fjord. We very much liked the surroundings. We can recommend to spend more than just two or three days there.

Gististaðurinn er í sögulegri byggingu í Svenshögen, 34 km frá Bohusläns-safninu, Cozy Cottage with sea view er sumarhús með einkastrandsvæði og garði. We were 6 persons staying in the big house and we were delighted with it. It was very cozy with the fireplace and the dinner area with a view to the water. The rooms were also very nice and cozy. We were provided with towels and sheets and the host was very communicative and answered very fast to all of our questions. The hot tub was also super nice.

Quaint country house off the beaten path. Amazing for a quiet night in the countryside versus a typical hotel. The rooms were updated and clean. Michael and Marianne (the owners) were wonderful! Def book the surprise dinner during your stay…. The whole experience was magical!!
