We loved our room. It was comfortable and quite. The breakfast was exceptional. A perfect start for exploring the city. Also the bar was very good and we wish the restaurant would have been open on more days, we could enjoy it only on one evening. But no prob: There are many restaurants nearby.

We stayed at the Sofitel Hotel in Circular Quay and had amazing views of the Quay. In the daytime we would have a very pleasant walk around the Quay and along the coastline which led us to Sydney harbour, where we could easily hop onto a boat to visit other places like Manly beach. During the evenings we would visit the many lovely restaurant and bars around the Quay and admire the boats. It’s well worth a visit.

A must is the view from Circular Quay Railway station, its th best free view of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Harbour and Opera House. (Local secret if you want an even better view) head towards the Oprah house as you get to the lsat ferry wharf under the Cahill express way you'll see a lift that looks like it goes nowhere, but it takes you up to the Cahill Expressway. from there you'll have 360 degree views of Sydney city, bridge and harbour.

Ferries, trains, trams, buses to anywhere you like.

Ferries, trains, trams, buses to anywhere you like. Download the public transport app to plan your trip. Oh and the bridge the opera house and if you're lucky one of those massive cruise ships will be in. They are like floating cities, quite a sight. There's usually some street entertainment in the area too.

It’s a bit of walking.

It’s a bit of walking. Especially if you are going to the opera house as well. So travel light. If you have small kids (or a tired Grandma) take one of those fold up beach trolleys ($75 from Kmart) those things are priceless when lugging kids and stuff around! (And tired Grandmas)

Everything is a stone throw from the Quay view Opera House, walk over Sydney Harbour Bridge, The Botanical Gardens, Lady Macquarie's Chair visit the historical Rocks have a beer in the oldest pubs in Sydney a few claim to be. Macquarie Street is a walk up the road there is an amazing amount of history in this street, the first signs from penal colony to a colony, might be best during the week where you can access some of the buildings. If none of that suits just sit and enjoy the worldof circular key coffee and watching the world go by

Such a cool area of the city and such a beautiful hotel. Lots of adorable restaurants and shops just nearby and you're a stones throw from Circular Quay where the opera house sits and so many transportation options are available. This is a great location to give you easy access to any area of the city via trains, busses and ferries.

This was our 3rd stay at the Amora Jamison and this time we were travelling with friends. We arrived early and were given a complimentary early check in which we were thankful for. Check in was smooth and we all had rooms on the fifth floor. Everything was very clean and the beds are firm, but comfortable. The location is fantastic as we were spending time in Circular Quay and the Rocks. The price compared to other hotels in this area of Sydney was very good. The buffet breakfast was nice.

The view from the apartment was excellent. 180 degree view of Sydney Harbour, Harbour Bridge and part of Luna Park, night time view is even more stunning. The location is also very good, it was about a 5-10 minute walk to Milson Point Ferry terminal which then takes about 5 minutes to get to Circular Quay. The apartment overall is good with everything our family needed. The kids really enjoyed the indoor pool on the second floor and the Gym was very handy.

Location was ideal and very close to Circular Quay but the Hotel was very quiet, room was spacious and modern with fast Wi-Fi. We used buses one day and ferries the next, both being in close proximity to the hotel. Staff were really friendly and helpful.

The hotel is located in The Rocks, close to Circular Quay and the Opera House. From Circular Quay, the walk is uphill with many stairs, so it’s not ideal if you have heavy luggage. However, the room is clean and the public spaces are comfortable.

A very nice well appointed apartment, all very new and nice, in a classic older building. Area is very nice, older Sydney, and just an easy hour walk to circular quay. One parking lot per apartment was good. Facilities list missed including the washer dryer facilities although shared in the parking area.

Great hotel in a great location! Close to Darling Harbour, Barangaroo, and Circular Quay. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds and an impressive shower. I booked a room with breakfast, which turned out to be one of the best I’ve had. Great value for money.
