SingaporeVery approachable staff. Staff knew that we were on honeymoon and went the extra mile to greet us. Staff gave us recommendations to see wombats which were spot on. He even addressed all our concerns regarding the trip to cradle mountain. I would say that the staff exceeded our expectations which made our stay very worthwhile.

Beautiful place, fantastic walk around the lake.
Beautiful place, fantastic walk around the lake. Peppers Resort was great, we stayed in a resort room with a Jacuzzi on the balcony and the staff even built us a snowman on the balcony railing. It had snowed the day before we arrived and the landscape was beautiful.

Fantastic hotel, perfect location for hiking cradle mountain. Room was just beautiful with views out over the forest. We went for a walk at dusk around the hotel grounds and saw wombats, echidna and wallabies.
Restaurant was great for dinner and breakfast, staff were wonderful.
We especially liked they had a green inventive, if you skipped the daily room clean you got $10 credit at the restaurant.
The shop and gallery were also very nice!

The staff were very pleasant.
The food at the hotel restaurant was quite good.
The room was very clean.
I mentioned it was my birthday, and they kindly left a chocolate and a card — I really appreciated that.
The location is excellent, just a few minutes’ drive from the Cradle Mountain walks and the Devils@Cradle experience.

Sited on top Cradle Mountain . Terrific staff , good food at dinner and breakfast . Generous room size with 2 queen beds and free laundry to hotel guests and inhouse massage and good bar good coffee . Wildlife outside window on arrival and in the afternoon.

Cradle Mountain Lodge is the iconic accommodation in the region. Its hotel and restaurant facilities provide for every taste. The complementary wine, coffee and snacks in the room were much appreciated. The fireplace in the room was wonderful. It was great to be able to walk to the Ranger's Station to pick up the shuttle bus.

Celebrating my honeymoon, we traveled around Tasmania staying at a few different hotels, Cradle Mountain Hotel exceeded all others, absolutely amazing staff, room, restaurant, the meals were so delicious we didn’t try any other restaurants. I know when I was making my booking, I found it difficult to decide which hotel to stay at, I would highly recommend Cradle Mountain Hotel, you won’t be disappointed, and try the pork entree and steak mains, yum!

The hotel is a great option for all the attractions of Cradle Mountain. We were warmly greeted by the reception staff who had very good knowledge of the area and gave us some very good advice. We found the room to be a little dated, the resort is obviously on tank water and the pump is not great at giving a strong shower, the bed we had was a King and it was very comfortable with a big screen TV easily viewable from the bed. it was quite cold while we were there and all the fireplaces were in operation which was warm and cosy.

The location is very good. Only abt 5 mins walk from the hotel to cradle mountain visitor centre. The Lodge is very close to nature and sometimes u can see small animals ard the lodge. The staff is very helpful. Our car was stuck on the slope up the hotel due to ice on the slope. Their restaurant manager, Edward came and helped us parked the car at the lower carpark. If not for him, I think we will have to spent the night in the car. :(
