My introduction to The Oberoi Hotels at The Cecil was an absolute delight, largely due to the remarkable warmth and professionalism of the staff. I have rarely encountered such genuine courtesy. Our stay was incredibly relaxing and comfortable, with the team consistently going above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. I would especially like to recognize Swati, Raghav, Sujata, and Sahil, whose individual efforts truly made our stay memorable. Their keen eye for detail and personalized approach made us feel exceptionally welcome and completely at ease.     It's very good stay for couples and friends. I want to inform you that, the hotel location near the mall road but as per the shimla government mall road is no vehicle zone area , so u need to walk at least 15 to 20 min to visit the hotel otherwise hotel facilities and staff behaviour is every good. And I am happy with this property

    The best feature of the hotel is that it is very near The Mall Road, Shimla. The room had bunk beds as well and was perfect for my group. It has an in-house restaurant as well. The mountain view from the room was okay.

    Location is very good because it's really close to the Mall road and The Ridge. However if you have weak knees, it will be a pain to climb back to the hotel from the mall road. It's definitely not an easy task for people who don't reside in mountains. Room is big and the bed is cozy. Bathroom is also of a decent size but there was a negative point about it which I have mentioned in another section.

    The room was clean and all the bedding provided was very neat and clean plus the free wifi and smart tv connection. the staff assistance to any query and facilities was very commendable...they came to receive us to the cab and carried our luggage from cab to hotel also helped in dropping the same...the dinner and tea provided was delicious and it was served hot.Staff behaviour is really commendable.Its a genuine review.and it is located near the mall road .

    it’s a property with a scenic view. It’s right on the Mall Road so it’s a no car zone. Whole Shimla has parking issues and the available parking space is very expensive. I have a baby and the staff was kind enough to sterilise my baby’s bottles. Breakfast buffet was really good and the hotel’s restaurant was also nice but little expensive. One interesting thing I saw in their room menu was baby food like porridge and all, that was very thoughtful.

    This was an unexpected gem in my journey...one of the most courteous and humble staff I came across in a low budget hotel...the rooms are spacious..they tend to all your queries immediately and the location just on the mall road is just a major add on Highly recommend to a hassle free stay Ps Parking is not available in any nearby area
