BelgiumWhat to say, this hotel is fantastic. The room is big and full of comforts like very high quality and bio products to wash yourself, a hairdryer, a night-gown. Bed was one of the best I have ever slept on. The pool is nice and calm and offers some relax and escape from the hot weather. Breakfast was also fantastic and staff was very attentive and nice to us. We really felt pampered even if we stayed only one night.

SerbiaI really enjoyed my time at Hacienda Merida VIP. The building has historical charm and there’s no better way to feel the weight of Merida’s history. The room was very big and comfortable, with a balcony overlooking the swimming pool area. They actually had 3 pools, one for each section. One of the highlights is the location, right in the middle of the old town. Everything we wanted to visit was within a 10-minute walking distance. It was a great stay!

Beware when buying a trip (from any touristic agencies that...
Beware when buying a trip (from any touristic agencies that sell them). Check the distances and traveling times: highly recommend visiting the attractions near Mérida (if you're staying in Mérida).
If you plan to visit the Cancún area, it's better to stay in that area than travel all the way from Mérida.
The tour agencies try to sell these trips as incredible experienced but they're really overpriced as you spend 4-5 hours sitting in a van (each way) and very little time at the destination. It's exhausting, too rushed and in my opinion, not worth the money or the time!

The hotel is very central, walking distance to all attractions, main square and bus station. It is central to bars and many good restaurants.
We did have to change rooms, because the AC wasn’t working but the staff did it within 10 minutes. The second room had an issue with the door locking system which was fixed 2x on the spot so that was annoying a bit but otherwise, everything was good.
The breakfast was simple and nice.

The location is just three blocks from the main square and within walking distance of Paseo Montejo. The room is big and comfortable. The staff is helpful and gave us good recommendations for walking around. Overall, it is an excellent value for money and what you would expect from this kind of hotel. All good.

Fantastic location, in downtown, 5 mins from the main square, yet, relatively quiet. Parking with guardian. Awesome staff, always smiling and helpful. Nice, historic building. Swimming pool in the building. Access to restaurant from the hotel lobby. Live music in the restaurant (but not loud, does not disturb guests).

We spent a few days at this hotel with our family and we were very happy with our stay. The pool was definitely a highlight – perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the city. The hotel’s location is excellent – close to great restaurants and just a short walk to Mérida’s main square.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, which made us feel truly welcome. Breakfasts were simple but enough to start the day off right.
We definitely recommend this hotel in Mérida

Wonderful hostel, set in a historical building, not too far from the main square.
The staff are very nice and work hard to make the place spotless and enjoyable.
They organise daily very interesting activities.
The breakfast is rich and caters for all tastes.
The beds in the dorms are comfortable and have privacy curtains.

The location is the best thing about this place. It was really just one block away from main square where a lot of activities happen. every weekend the street downstairs just transforms into a free night music concert as the street are blocked for traffic and open for people to sit down and have dinner with live music. The hotel itself was comfortable enough and affordable. The bed was comfortable and I could sleep well.

The location is very good, next to a square with good restaurants and a couple of blocks away from the main square, with lots of shops nearby, and a tourist bus makes a stop (their only one) at the hotel (the tour includes only basic english commentaries tho, but that's for another review).
