SwitzerlandWe loved our stay at Fernanda & Fernando’s lodge boho-chic style in the middle of flowers, greenery and eclectic decorations. We first stayed in a double room then moved for the last 2 nights to the room with king bed and kitchen, which is a worthwhile upgrade. The hosts and their staff work hard to keep this huge compound welcoming and clean, it seem to have further expansion plans. We could not use the beautiful pool as water was a bit cold (normal during this season) and did not eat at the restaurant as it closes at 5-5.30pm, too early for us after spending the day visiting the region. The village of Huayapam is an excellent surprise. Great location just 30min from Oaxaca center and easy starting point to visit Monte Alban, Mitla, Arrazola, Hierve el Agua and so many other fascinating places. Tiny but super cute with amazing restaurants, esp the family run Luz de la Luna (we live in Peru and the food and cocktails are at the level of some best Lima restaurants). Huayapam and its friendly inhabitants are worth being much better known and supported! Mil gracias y suerte!!!

United KingdomIt's just amazing! Each room had got its own patio with a tree and hammock. The bed is super comfy and large. The room is of a modern minimalist design with cute little details. There's a great taco place 10 mins walk from the hotel. The village is very pretty too. Great location if you want to stay just outside Oaxaca.

The location in the middle of the mountains with a view on the agave fields.
Close to the center of Mitla and a good location to go explore Hierve el Agua.
The pool is nice for a cool down after a day of exploring!

Excellent price, clean and very comfy. Highly recommend it. We stayed there for one night and when we had to come back to Mitla 2 weeks later, we decided to stay at the same place.

For this price conditions were perfect. Hotel has beautiful mountain view. Everything was clean. Interior decor was cosy and traditional. Mitla is so charming place, 100 times better than Oaxca and hotel is very close to centre but enough far to be quite.

The bedroom was beautiful So comfortable and pretty with soap and a sachet of shampoo
Carmen was wonderful despite the huge language barrier We don’t speak much Spanish and she doesn’t speak English. She arranged taxis for us to huerva de aguas Highly recommend this way of getting there as we arrived there at 745 and could look around and swim in complete peace. Carmen also booked our taxi back to Oaxaca and the multiple moto taxis to get into Mitla centre
The view is beautiful. We would stay again if we could make or buy coffee
