Beautiful city.
Beautiful city. Excellent museum of modern art, de Fundatie. Beautiful bookstore inside an old church. The best cake and chocolates in the Netherlands at Bakkerij Lindeboom. Try my three favourites: Dark chocolate filled with 5-spice, dark chocolate with cardamom filling, and the milk chocolate filled with caramel and sea salt. Try the others too. Many are prize winning chocolates.

When we arrived we were greeted and everything was shown to us, the hosts were very welcoming and friendly. For the cold weather there was even an AC in the room, that came in very handy after being out in the cold in rain to warm up. The hosts had even prepared a little guide to where we could go and eat, something to see and some facts about Zwolle, which was very lovely and came in handy.LindaLatvia

Located on the pedestrian plaza, with many restaurants, cafes and pubs to choose from. Access is by a computerized system with a code sent by e-mail. No hotel staff on site, but restaurant staff in building are helpful. Friday Market on the pedestrian mall is great.
