Our room had everything you need for a one night stay. Breakfast was decent (loved the view from the terrace!). The receptionist was very polite and attentive. Would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Istanbul!

We are so happy to have stayed at this hotel. Everything of this hotel from the moment we said hello to the time we had to say goodbye was amazing. The staff provided us with great service and advice (especially Enes) and by doing so made us feel so welcomed. A great selection was available during breakfast and it was nice that it was served on their terrace. The restaurant recommendations were spot on as we had wonderful meals at these restaurants. The hotel is in an ideal location as it is a short walk to the main attractions in Istanbul and if you want to venture further there are public transportation options close by. Thank you team for making our first trip to Istanbul memorable!!

The best location for all we needed,the station waa like 2 steps away from the entry of the hotel. The staff is extremly kind,they always helped us wiht the information we nedeed. Excellent breakfast,great delights. Tea and turkish koffe was always available and also lemonade and bottles water. When we were leaving their very kind guys carried all our lugagge directly to the our car ride. And the best off all is their roof top terrace! The wiev...LIKE IN A DREAM!!! I highly recomend the stay in this magnificent hotel.

Basilica Cistern

This cavernous space is the largest remaining Byzantine cistern in Istanbul. Constructed in the 6th century, it originally provided water filtration for the Great Palace of Constantinople, and continued to supply the Topkapi Palace from 1453 until the modern day. Opened to the public in 1987, you can now explore its atmospheric walkways and marvel at the intricacy of its decorative, water-worn columns.

    Another interesting place that doesn't merit the long wait, the high ticket price. This is only an hour's visit at most. Walk around this glorious city instead and soak up the atmosphere. I love places like the Cistern but this price doesn't match the experience and I can't stand being packed into a place with huge crowds of tourists.

    so glad I went here, you only need about 30 mins but its beautiful and worth a visit. Beautifully lit and apparently there are concerts there sometimes which would be amazing. 800 TL (July 2024) Please note, no toilets (well, I didn't see any).

    Atmospheric.

    Atmospheric. Not too busy when we visited, but you won't be alone. Admission fee but worth it. Exit is obvious, entrance around the corner. If there's a queue, say you want to pay with card and you might beat it, as we did.

    An amazing example of how the re-use of old structure has aa long, long history. If you have small children, remember that CO2 is heavier than air, and they might need to be carried for some of the way if they feel a little dizzy.

    its a must visit place as while looking at it one wonders...

    its a must visit place as while looking at it one wonders the engineering and architect of that time and the kind of efforts which were made to create a nearly hidden, massive cistern. the ticket price of of 350 lira is a bit steep but since Sultanamet ( Blue Mosque) and Hagia Sofia( now when its a mosque) have no tickets, its OK. all are close by and could be visited in all in 2-3 hrs..

    Location is perfect to visit most of the attractions of Istanbul (no longer than 40 mins by foot to go to Basilica Cistern, Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazar, ...). Reaching the hotel from the Istanbul IST airport is very easy: it takes about 1 hour by a couple of metros (M11 and M2), and is very cheap (no need to take expensive taxy). Once you reach Yenikapi metro station, the hotel is 5 min by foot. Rooms were clean and quiet. Staff very kind.
