Hotel euphemia was excellent - room was spacious, clean, it had a couch and three small tables, bed was soft, two pillows per person with a good comforter, and it's toilet and bath was spacious and clean. WiFi was fast enough for mobile gaming. It also provided toiletries, snacks, and drinks for free (+ alcoholic welcome drinks from the bar). The TV had streaming and local cable so we enjoyed since we got to watch their sports channels. Their staff is friendly and the location is close to the night market but far enough that it is quiet and peaceful. You can take a quick walk to mcdonald's or 7-11 if you want a fast meal. It is also close enough to the HSR station so the uber was cheap and the bus ride was short. Highly recommend this hotel if you're staying in taichung.

    This is a basic hotel, but it's very good value. I think it's the best budget option near Feng Chia University and Feng Chia night market. The rooms are small but clean (not spotless, just clean). It's an old building, but a bonus is every room features a small terrace/balcony.
