Everything about the hotel was great. Nice big pool with hot tub next to it. Bell hop service. Bar and grill. Fine dining restaraunt with special holiday meals. Daily breakfast buffet. Most of the staff was nice, friendly, and attentiitive.

It’s trendy but not too trendy. It is above all friendly and has a great lobby cafe, nicely appointed rooms and lots of little touches that highlight that this is an old building that has been given a new life.

We stayed three nights in January. The Peabody certainly lives up to its billing as ‘the Grand Hotel of the South’ with a luxurious lobby and regal hotel rooms. The service is extraordinary. Honestly, the staff are always smiling and can’t do enough. Each evening they actually knock at your door offering you chocolates, extra toiletries and extra bottled water (all with a duck motif, of course). The duck parade at 11am and 5pm is a must. Don’t wait until the last minute if you want a prime viewing spot though as it crowds up fast. Our room was spacious and the bed was VERY comfy. We especially appreciated the built-in individual reading lights. The hotel offers free coffee and tea downstairs each morning. The location is great, 2 blocks from Beale and across the street from the ballpark. I can’t imagine going to Memphis and staying anywhere else

    I booked a room in the Hu. Hotel for my son, a professional musician, who was attending a convention in Memphis. He was very pleased with the hotel and the friendly, helpful staff. He especially liked the rooftop--the bar and the view. The hotel was close to the convention venue and just a short walk to Beale Street. Breakfast was available at the convention, so he didn't have the one at the hotel. He hopes to return to Memphis in the near future and plans to stay again at the Hu.

    Location couldn't have been more perfect, Beale street with all the activities was located right behind the hotel. Parking garage was safe and secure, plenty of space available. Room was clean and comfortable and surprisingly quiet for the location. Breakfast was good with both hot and cold items available and breakfast staff was incredibly friendly, helpful and cheerful.

    We were very impressed with the quality and cleanliness of the hotel as a whole. The decor... top notch! All of the staff that we spoke with were very friendly and knowledgeable of the attractions in Memphis. The location is perfect for walking to Beale Street and other historical locations like the Arcade Diner and the Lorraine Hotel.
