Strahan Wilderness Lodge was easy to get to if you have a vehicle. The shared dining room area and kitchen has a lovely view of the water and Strahan across the bay. The Wilderness Lodge was clean and furnished well. it ws a quiet and comfortable place to stay. The couple running it are friendly and helpful.

Very comfortable and spacious, good heater, very well equipped kitchen perfect for cooking. Hosts very friendly and helpful when we had some car issues the next morning! Would highly recommend.

A lovely home it’s like going back in time and you feel like the lady of the house. It’s a stunning home, an honest bar and the best kind staff. Featuring a spa bath, a fireplace and a private balcony with native forest views, Woodbridge Hill Hideaway is just 5 minutes’ drive from Great Bay. Everything was perfect! Immaculately clean, beautiful views, spacious. Filled with everything you could think/need. Host was excellent. Breakfast was plentiful. It was our favourite accommodation to date! The ability to order dinner in-house was fantastic and the quality and generosity of the servings outstanding. We would highly recommend this property for a beautiful place to stay when exploring the area around Franklin.
