Imo the beauty and serenity of the location is unmatched. We loved playing tennis, bushwalking through the property, canoeing along the lovely Frankland River practically at our doorstep, also having an outdoor wood fire and BBQ. Very comfy beds and well equipped kitchen plus an indoor wood fire to keep us warm at night. Also Prue the manager is a fabulous and very generous host! Fyi as a family of 4 living in Albany we were 2-3 times a year regulars at the Chalets for 17 years up until 5 years ago when our son and then later our daughter moved to Perth to study, so this was our first reunion visit to what we all call our 'second home"!!!

Fantastic location, in the woods, near a great brewery & lots of wineries. It has a view to die for over the fields with sea in the distance, kangaroos grazing in the field. Cottage was spacious & well equipped. Our stay was So relaxing!

I love the house. Its amenities were complete as stated. Free laundry and dryer. A lot of kangaroo roaming around during our stay. Very easy to find the location, and process of check-in and check-out were smooth. We love it, 3 days and 2 nights seems so short.

It is huge estate which allows us to stroll & hike. There were many kangaroos jumping around & 4 sheeps on the field. What we enjoy most is gazing the stars at night! It was an experience for us! We would definitely be back again & stay longer. The kitchen is fully equipped with oil oil pepper & salt.

We stayed in the Kingfisher chalet. It was clean and comfortable and the wood fire was a bonus. The chalet also had reverse cycle air conditioning . Sitting outside on the private veranda in the spa was very relaxing and nice and warm. I would definitely recommend Donnelly Lakes and will definitely return 😊

The view from our porch watching kangaroos, cows and clouds go by, surrounded by the quiet of the bush was just out of this world! The 3 bedroom chalet suited our 3 generation family holiday perfectly - complete with a loft for the pre-teen :) And Barbara and Raimond were just so delightful. It was a perfect short stay, we wish we could have stayed longer!
