Loved our stay here. Most comfortable cabin of our trip so far. Very well thought out cabin. Could not fault anything. Beautiful cosy design. Short walk to lake beach for beautiful sunset. Great bathroom, well equipped kitchen. Big comfy bed. Very helpful staff.

We couldn’t have asked for more and had a lovely relaxing time here.

This place is “heart and soul”! Built by your host, Renzo, he has created a place of calm that stress just falls away! Each can in has its own “forrest” and hot tub! The cabins are simple and all different having used the nature around to build them. The best of all is your host Renzo! He too is all heart and soul and his hospitality and help is endless. What a gem! A gem of a place, a gem of a host! We’ll miss him very much.

Cabañas y hostal Aurora nabízí zahradu, terasu a sdílenou kuchyň. Pláž Playa Sabanilla je 1,9 km odtud. I want to thank Pamela for the hospitality, my friends and I felt like at home. Pamela is kind, interesting in communication person, she recommended us a really delicious place to have dinner in the city (I recommend you ask too!). After visiting the oceanfront park, we returned for another night. The room is spacious, the beds are comfortable, the shower is excellent, there is plenty of space on the veranda to enjoy the view of the bay and the city. Basic but excellent breakfast, fast internet. And if you love cats and dogs, you will definitely like this place. It's not a problem at all that the house is far from the city center — public transport runs often and is cheap. I recommend this place with all my heart! That's what we needed to rest between hiking and moving between cities.

The surroundings of the cabin are lovely. It feels like you are in a jungle with mature trees and ferns but in reality, you are in a secure garden just a few metres away from the main property. The cabin was tastefully furnished and we had a comfortable stay. The lake and restaurants are a few minutes away. We used the secure car park and walked to the city center which was about 15-20 minutes for us. The owner and his family are lovely people and quick to answer questions and requests.

This is an exceptional stay, the location is wonderful with the sea advancing underneath the property at high tide. The bird life is easy to spot from inside the cabin and the balcony is a good size to sit out in. You can stargaze from there at night. Inside the log burner keeps everything cozy and the kitchen is well equipped. There are shops within a 10 minute walk. Castro is easily accessible by local bus. If you don’t speak Spanish, the drivers are very helpful. Castro itself is a good visit with lots of shops and cafes and good views. The staff overcome language problems with ease simply with the desire for you to enjoy your stay. There are cats, chickens and a very engaging young dog. I don’t give 10/10s. This is a 10/10.
