The location of the property is excellent, located right at the river. It is very clean and the bed is super comfortable. If we had known, we would have stayed longer.

Paradise in the cloudforest! All staff go out of their way for guests and are extremely professionnal, courteous and kind. On a rainy and chilly night we came back to hot water bottles on our beds and appreciated the attention so much. A special mention should be given to the landscaping and gardening staff thanks to whom the place is such an Eden. I hope they get regular raises! Rooms were comfy and spotlessly clean, the breakfast delicious and plentiful and the other meals we took there were also excellent. The café also has some lovely choices.

The lodge is surrounded by beautiful cloud forest, offering breathtaking views. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the food was delicious, and we even got to see the famous quetzal! In September, it did get a bit chilly at night, but we were perfectly comfortable with the provided heaters and cozy blankets. It’s a perfect place to relax, enjoy the peace of the mountains, and experience the magic of Costa Rica’s highlands.
