What can I say? This was everything I’ve ever imagined and more. We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay in when we were in Inari. From waking up to the beautiful pink skies right above us and sleeping to the view of the aurora dancing over our heads, honestly it was so surreal. I loved that it was situation in a pretty remote area, it was so peaceful. If you’re here for the aurora, don’t even bother booking a tour because you will see it in the comforts of your cabin or you can just wait out my the lake and watch it dance over the frozen river. There’s a trail nearby you can explore by foot during the day that looks really magical with the pink skies, the staff suggested we check it out. The shops and restaurants are a bit of a walk away so we just bought some groceries and ate in our cabin most nights. There’s also a small hut by the lake where you can start a fire and have a little BBQ., which we did after getting some hotdogs from a the shops. Highly recommend this! Anyway we loved the place so much we extended another night, and lucky we did because there was an aurora storm that night too. I cannot recommend this place enough. Staying here was really a dream come true!!!

Lodge 67°N Lapland is located in the centre of Äkäslompolo and at the foot of Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park. Free WiFi and parking are available. Fabulous hosts and a very cosy lodge, nicely decorated and with comfortable bed and nice outlook from the verandah

Bare 16 kilometer fra Arktikum vitenskapssenter og museum ligger Aava Riverside. Dette overnattingsstedet har en hage, et privat strandområde og tilgang til gratis WiFi. It is very cozy and well equipped. Very clean and looks very new. It felt somehow a bit like home. We would come back for sure!

Little Elves Cabin har en hage og utsikt mot hagen, og ligger i Rovaniemi, 16 minutters gange fra Julenisselandsbyens postkontor og 1,1 kilometer fra Santa Claus Village - Christmas House. Loved how close it is to Santa Claus Village. The walk to it was gorgeous, just through the forest. Super warm cabin. Very comfy bed. The hosts went above and beyond. Nothing was too much and they were only too happy to help. Very approachable. Our stay was fantastic. We cant wait to come back.

Elves Cabin Wagon ligger i Rovaniemi, 16 minutters gange fra Julenisselandsbyens postkontor og 1,1 kilometer fra Santa Claus Village - Christmas House. I recently had a wonderful time at this charming caravan, and I can't recommend it highly enough! From the moment I arrived, I felt right at home. The caravan is cozy and comfortable, with a fantastic heating system that kept everything warm and inviting during my stay. The little bathroom inside was very convenient for quick needs, although the private shower located outside in the main building added an element of adventure. It was nice to have that option while still enjoying the cozy interior of the caravan. Olli and his wife were incredibly helpful and attentive, always quick to respond to any questions I had. Their hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable. One of the highlights was the location. The caravan is just a short walk from Santa Claus Village, and I loved taking the scenic route through the little forest nearby. It felt safe and serene, and I spent my days walking alone, soaking in the beauty of nature around me. Overall, I highly recommend this place, and I'm already looking forward to coming back with my family and friends next time. It’s a perfect getaway for anyone seeking comfort and a touch of adventure!

Ranua Haistila Retreat with Elegant Views & Sauna near Rovaniemi ligger i Ranua i Finske Lappland, med Ranua dyrepark bare 16 kilometer unna. The house was perfect. Very comfortable Living room, hot saune, spacious bedrooms...so much better than expected. We even had a Christmas tree :-) The location is close to Ranua (15 minutes by car) and Rovaniemi (1 hour).
