Sanda feels different from anywhere else in Bali. This is not a place for passive tourism—it gently asks something of you too. If you're looking for a space to be still, to read, to think, to meditate, or to unplug from social media and constant feedback, this is a rare and beautiful choice. I spent three days here reading and reflecting, allowing my life to pause. My conversations with Harry gave me a deeper understanding of plants—their fruits, their rhythms, their stories. December is durian season, and I know I will return. Time spent here feels like a gift. I hope you give yourself one too.

Right in the middle of the rice fields and jungle! This establishment is a great place if you want to have nice walks along the famous rice terraces. The noise of the nature at night takes time to get used to. Same with sleeping in a room with geckos - but that's pretty normal in Bali. The host was really helpful in helping with arranging the healer when my husband had back pain. Thank you! We will always remember our stay.
