I really liked this quiet place to stay. A traditional and cozy house. My hosts were kind, patient, and supportive. They offered guidance and encouragement whenever I asked.

This accommodation provided breakfast AND dinner - dinner! - so it was truly a unique gem. The food was fantastic - dinner was a choice between curry rice and bamboo steam rice (which I opted for - it was so delicious and healthy). Breakfast was a selection of fruits, bread, jams, cereal, yogurt. Perfect for fueling for the day ahead. Location was also very close to the trailhead. It was a shared space, and I appreciated that they had a lights-out timing which allowed everyone to rest.

It is an old style house, so as long as you aren't expecting Western/modern comforts, it's fantastic! My daughter called it the Totoro house. You will sleep on Japanese futons that you lay out on the tatami mats - if you've never slept on a futon it might feel uncomfortable/hard compared to Western beds. You will eat sitting on the tatami mats, but there are a couple of small Western chairs if sitting on the floor is difficut. The bathroom is Japanese style with the toilet in one section, the sink/vanity in a second section and the shower with separate furo (deep bathtub for soaking after washing in the shower) in the third section. It was not the most modern but all clean and more spacious than the Western hotel bathrooms we had other parts of Japan! There is a TV, wifi worked great and a bluetooth speaker to play music. There aren't a lot of "tourist" attractions nearby but it you want serenity this hits the spot - a few steps away has you walking among farming fields and the house is also close to the forest with a little stream running along side the road making for a peaceful but easy walk up the mountain. The gohan (rice) cooked in the old style stove was the best we ate our entire trip! Wish we had bought some of the local rice. It can get a little smoky when dinner is being cooked but my mild asthma was fine. The host, Hiro, is amazing, super accomodating and friendly, he introduced us to his shiba inu (dog) and his duck, and even though we didn't ask ahead, he prepped for us to make tofu - this experience was an extra fee but totally worth it! During the winter you can also request mochitsuki (pounding rice into mochi) and summer/fall you can make noodles (can't remember if he said soba, ramen or udon). Hiro's English is limited, but he's so engaging, we asked him to eat dinner with us and my daughter loved that...he has such good energy!

The staff came to pick us up at Hashimoto station mid-afternonn because it's really remote from anything and they dropped us at Koyasan the next day. We should have stayed for 2 nights instead of 1 because there is a lot to see in Koya san. The staff was extremely helpful and patient with us. They really took good care of us. The food was amazing ! They even adjusted to my seafood allergy. Thank you for your warm welcome !

Tamayura no Sato nabízí restauraci, sezónní venkovní bazén, zahradu a terasu. Kishi Station se nachází 30 km odtud. This was a nice place away from the city. They have bbqs where you can grill outside of your cabin. Comfortable cabins close to some cool stuff to see. Friendly staff.

Mountain Home Lodge in Deer Park se nachází ve čtvrti Nara Park v destinaci Nara. Nara vlakové nádraží je 3,3 km odtud a Iwafune Shrine 20 km. Na místě je dostupné bezplatné Wi-Fi ve všech prostorách.... We had such a relaxing stay. Being able to see the deer every day and explore the park was such a great bonus. The people are friendly and always willing to help. Definitely recommend!

Fukurou se nachází v destinaci Kušimoto a nabízí ubytování s přístupem do zahrady. Shionomisaki Shrine se nachází 3,3 km odtud a Kushimoto Turkish Memorial and Museum 12 km. I really enjoyed the private access Onsen, available to sign up once a day. Perfect after biking around Kushimoto all day—I rented one of their electric assist bikes which made going up and down the local hills easier. Complete with helmet and cell phone holder. The room was very spacious and comfortable.

Fiore Shima se nachází ve městě Shima v regionu Mie, 5 km od vesnice Shima Spain, a nabízí sezónní venkovní bazén, gril a terasu. Na místě je soukromé neplacené parkoviště. The rooms are very spacious, clean and comfortable with great amenities. We took our dog and there were bowls and bedding provided. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and we were made to feel very welcome. The pool area is great with lots of seating and is open from 8am-8pm so you can enjoy morning and evening swims. We have stayed twice now and I would definitely recommend it.
