Very comfortable (hanging) bed. Really high quality finishes throughout the room. The food was delicious. Inthizar the host was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Dinner was delicious.

For us it was an amazing week that we did not expect the peace of the place, and the ease of getting around. Asela drove us to Kandy any time, we didn't know is was so close, and the drive so easy. It was actually nicer for us to be out of the city and Ascela took us around at a very low cost, we used messaging and always on time to meet us. Restaurants are interesting in town but we enjoyed eating at the home-stay because the food was very very good & healthy, such a beautiful place to look over the valley & their own vegetable & herb garden! We liked going on walks, magnificent views, and Asela actually gave us a little hiking tour! In Kandy, there are tourists like us- at Tedro we had privacy, but also felt part of the community when we took walks. There is a TV but we never used it. We will be back, some day, and we do recommend this precious experience to anyone that wants good food, good sleep (the bed is great, view is really nice) access to town& the sights. In fact, we ended up going on a longer excursion to Siguria with Asela as our driver! He kindly got us there and back safeley, and gave us a lot of space for personal privacy as we did our own exploring. He is a very good guide and his family - downstairs from the room & porches - is respectful.

We had a wonderful stay at Avons Residence Hanthana! The location was peaceful with beautiful surroundings, offering a perfect escape from the busy city life. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Mr.Sanjaya was exceptionally friendly and attentive, making sure all our needs were met. The breakfast was delicious (we had milk rice and string hoppers, breakfast comes with a fruit plate as well), and the overall service exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing and memorable stay. Looking forward to visiting again!

Even though you are a bit lost you have everything you need. Food is delicious. Highly recommend you to visit this place for an authentic experience. Also you might be guided by a very cute and incredible dog named Rocky who will take care of you. One of our best experience in Sri Lanka as regard to enjoy the nature and food.
