I appreciated the little touches like complimentary water and snacks a quick check-in process. The location is perfect for exploring the area. I’ll definitely be staying here again on my next visit!

We were offered a room in the main house, although we had apparently booked into the motel section, at no extra cost. The new room was beautiful, charmingly decorated, and it had a view over the lake. It was actually possible to get a healthy breakfast from the food on offer.

Very friendly owner / manager who was very kind and welcoming but not intrusive. Best sleep quality we’ve had on our two week trip.

Love love love this place. We came all the way from Germany and had a really great stay. The rooms were big, had a fireplace and a cozy sitting area. What made the stay even better was the super kind lady at the front desk who explained everything at the hotel, offered us cookies and DVDs. Yes! The rooms have DVD players and the front desk has a HUGE variety of movies. It was like going back in time.. in a very positive way. Rooms were clean, bathroom was great and the location right at the beach stunning. We will be back!

We book the place last minute and it was one of the best stop during our road trip. The staff is kind, the place is quiet and feels very relaxing, other guests are respectful. You pretty much won’t hear a sound even in the evening while everybody is relaxing around their campfire. Room is clean, bathroom is clean. You are 15mins by car from Rapid City. I would love to come back here and stay longer.
