Location perfect as we were attending the airshow - watched the afternoon part from the lodge. Chris and the staff are super friendly, and made us feel at home. A true gem.

The lodge was well located and easy to find, signposted clearly from every approach road. On arrival we were greeted with a lovely drink and a hot towel whilst we filled out some paperwork, and then we're promptly showed to our lodge. The property was immaculate, with a heart in petals on the bed, and other beautiful little touches for our arrival. The view from the decked area is simply stunning, and we had some incredible wildlife sightings from here alone; Giraffe, Zebra, Spotted Hyena, Warthog, Impala, Hartebeest etc! Arlington Brewery, and "The Slide" are both nearby, giving great options for breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks if you don't want to go to the effort yourself. We will most definitely be back!

African Hills Safari Lodge & Spa is set within the Plumari Private Reserve and its magnificent wildlife. It features an outdoor pool and a terrace. I can't speak highly enough about it. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality from the staff. The food served was nothing short of exceptional, offering a wide variety for both breakfast and dinner. One of the highlights of our stay was the game drive led by Luvmore. His expertise and passion for wildlife truly enhanced our experience. We were fortunate to witness incredible sightings during our time with him.

We had a fantastic time at Lakefield Lodge. The lodge was impressively clean, and we felt comfortable throughout our stay. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff, particularly one friendly lady, was responsive to our queries and super friendly. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and we'd definitely recommend Lakefield Lodge for its cleanliness, comfort, and great service.
