The property felt like being at camp back home in Canada. The cabin was very clean and well equipped with cooking supplies. We utilized the Brai twice which was great because restaurants were limited in the area. The walking trails through out the property was wonderful for evening walks. Zur Alten Mine is nicely located to check out the panorama route and other activities in the area. Breakfast was delicious with great homemade baking and jams. The host was also friendly and helpful with suggestions of things to do and driving routes to take. Very well ran business.

Value for money and customer service absolutely outstanding.

Mbizane Escarpment Retreat nabízí restauraci, venkovní bazén, sdílený lounge a terasu. Buffelskloof Nature Reserve se nachází 28 km odtud. It truly is a 5 star glamming experience in every way! You can opt for self catering and the provision for that is outstanding - or do what we did, used the restaurant on site. They will also bring the restaurant to your tent and you just order from the menu! Every evening there was a full turn down service so that your tent was warm and cosy and heating, including electric blankets supplied. Our stay was in August so chilly at night. Our tent was in front of the river and every evening we lit a fire and gazed at the stunning night sky. An absolutely clear sky and we could switch off the main light switch to facilitate this. Though remote we had excellent wifi facilities. The staff were superb hosts and made sure every expectation of our stay was met and more. When we received our joining instructions and realised our little car would struggle with the road to Mbizane, a member of staff gave us secure parking at her home and took us to the site with all our luggage. We really appreciated this as the road is challenging. However, with the option to get a lift on a 4x4 vehicle this was no longer a problem.

Our stay at this lodge in Kruger was absolutely incredible! The place was even more beautiful than in the pictures. All the staff and the manager were so welcoming, kind, and professional. We joined their safari, did a guided walk in the park, and had relaxing massages, everything was amazing! Our room was spotless and beautifully designed, and all the food was delicious. We truly enjoyed every moment here and highly recommend this lodge to anyone visiting Kruger!

We loved everything about this place. The grounds were stunning and the lodge itself was very nice. We had a huge room. This was also one of the few places we stayed that had good wifi. There was a cute jack russel who kept guard. The staff truly went above and beyond! From making us yummy meals to helping us buff out our rental car that we destroyed in Kruger. They even packed us lunches to take with us to Kruger! It was very nice chatting with the hosts and learning more about Africa and South Africa. Thank you for a great stay!

Right in the Kruger national park, so close to the Skukuza airport and has an incredible view of the river. Even though we went during the wet season we saw plenty of animals including lion cubs. The staff here ensure that you get the best service, they are super attentive and friendly (our wait staff, particularly Polite and Sma were wonderful)! Our guide Sidney was a legend. This is a truly unique and luxury experience, we would highly recommend!!

We spent our last night of Kruger expedition here just to treat ourselves. Our guide managed to find us two leopards during our two drives. All three meals were good with breakfast being exceptionally good. The view from this place is magical and so much better than the pictures here. highly highly recommended.

I fell ill during my stay, and they went above and beyond—helping me find a nearby doctor, offering advice, and even arranging a simple dinner based on my request. Their attention to small details truly made my experience a positive one. Huge thanks to Peter from the Zarafa and Lindo, our wonderful safari tour guide. I honestly don’t know what I would have done without their support. Kudos to the whole team!
