Located in Yangshuo, The Bamboo Leaf Yangshuo offers a seasonal outdoor swimming pool. People with hearts of gold! My mum suffered a life threatening condition while we visited, they saved her life. Nice location and view , easy pleasant walk into town or shuttle organised by the hotel. Bicycles free to take out for a ride. Don’t miss the sporty, healthy atmosphere by the river in the morning, the locals will definitely inspire you! Try the local noodles for breakfast, I definitely loved them. Several Western options available as well. Very nice choice of food for lunch and dinner, long opening hours for the roof-top restaurant.

Melody and her team provided not only a place for my grandparents to stay, but a lasting memory of Guilin and the people you can potentially meet along your travels. I cannot recommend this hotel enough, don’t second guess, just book! You will not be disappointed! Thank you Guilin HeShe Lakeside Resort, my grandparents are so thankful for your hospitality.

Positioned along Taohua River, Secret Courtyard Resort Hotel boasts a Chinese-style courtyard and is located in Lujia Village, just 2 km from downtown Guilin. Beautiful area, and far from city center. Comfortable clean rooms with amenities and nice view. Breakfast was so good and freshly prepared. They provide electric bike and bicycles for guests to use, free of charge. Incredibly attentive and cooperative host, thank you Mr. Xiao. He gifted us watermelon and cookies before taking off to our next stop.
