The location of the hotel was superb. The hotel was located in Old Town Lijiang, which was a convenient location to visit delicious restaurants and find local souvenirs. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and efficient. Our hosts were kind and friendly, and more than happy to make local recommendations of places to visit.

Just a 15 minute ride from the Kunming airport and the hotel provides a nice new van for personal pick up and drop off. (By the way - you meet the hotel shuttle van 🚐 just 100 meters left of Arrivals Gate 1 as you walk out of the Kunming Airport). A great value and an extremely well appointed hotel room with very nice touches and great furnishings. Everything felt very new and clean and definitely one of the nicer 4 star hotels in the airport area. Good working AC and very helpful front desk staff - including Joyce who helped me with my WIFI. Breakfast is high quality but is mostly Chinese style (which I like) with Rice noodles 🍜 and a few hot Chinese dishes. Hotel 🏨 is in a little shopping area (with a bunch of other similar airport hotels) that have some tea shops and local restaurants. Great choice for a layover at the Kunming airport.

Although it is located in the old city, it is accessible by car and they kindly picked us up at the airport, which is approximately an hour away from the hotel. The room is spacious, very comfortable with an excellent mattress, bed linen and towels, and a great bathroom with plenty of water, including a bathtub. But the best thing about the hotel is Amber, who speaks English and organized all the tours we did, including personally taking us to a restaurant, helping us choose the dishes and placing our order. Amber is excellent and extremely kind and helpful. Without her, our stay would certainly have been much more complicated. For guests who do not speak Chinese, this hotel has a great advantage. In short, the hotel is 10 out of 10. We were extremely well attended to in everything we asked for.
