A beautifully appointed hotel in a great location just outside of the city. It was very handy for driving to Paestum. The room was very comfortable. The breakfast was a good variety.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I had to write one for this place! My stay at The Gio Hotel was amazing. Mr. Gio welcomed us so warmly and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The hotel is new, spotless, and super cozy, we had a room with the best view! He also gave us great restaurant recommendations and tips on places to explore. Both he and the cook made sure we had halal options for breakfast, which we truly appreciated. The ladies working there were so sweet and kind to us, and the terrace area was beautiful. The hotel’s location is perfect, just a 2-minute walk from Piano di Sorrento train station. I’d definitely stay here again if I visit! And a bonus point! The bathroom has a shattafa, which was really hard to find elsewhere!

The room was nice and clean. Very short walk from the train station. We stayed one night for our return trip home to be close to airport. The host was great communicating the instruction on where to go to reach the room. There are a few steps but they are very clear and easy to follow.
