We spent nearly a week at the newly opened KAI Zanzibar Hotel & Spa in Nungwi as the final stop of our honeymoon — and what a perfect ending it was! From the moment we arrived, the KAI team went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. They personalized so many details for us, including a beautiful floating breakfast to celebrate our honeymoon. We stayed in a villa with a private pool, which was absolutely stunning — and yet we still found ourselves admiring the gorgeous common pool area too. When we arrived after a long safari tour, I wasn’t feeling well, and the team immediately made me a fresh ginger tea. They even arranged a dinner takeout and brought it to our room so I could rest — it’s these thoughtful gestures that really stood out to us. The entire facility is peaceful, relaxing, and beautifully maintained. Our villa and pool were cleaned daily, and it was such a joy to come back to a fresh, welcoming space every day. Mounir and the whole team were so warm and attentive — they truly made sure we were looked after from start to finish. The location is great too — close to the beach and nightlife, yet tucked away enough for some serenity. We’re so happy we chose KAI for the final part of our honeymoon and we’d absolutely come back again. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a boutique luxury experience with exceptional, personalised service! Thanks again for this memorable stay 💗

Amazing Facilities, we really enjoyed the privacy a tranquility of the only adults concept, the landscape is very nice and is well taken care, the Villas and its decoration are outstanding and comfortable. Staff are very professional, serviceable, with positive friendly attitude.

Petra (the manager), Juice (the chief cheff), all the reception, housekeeping, restaurant staff, I mean they are all from heaven...they'll die to help you & make you comfortable & 😊. The hotel is perfect for a quiet, relaxing escape, far away from the noise and the crowd of the popular beaches in Zanzibar. Very nice beach, dedicated to the resort guests only. The room is spacious, very clean, large bed, well equiped - iron, small espresso machine, large tv with netflix app, locker, 3 mirrors. We appreciated the staff being always supportive and making sure our stay is perfect. We were offered an early check-in and this was highly appreciated. Lots of activities organized at the resort, there is a schedule of every day activities like aqua gym, village walk, yoga, voleyball, beach football etc. The food for breakfast and for dinner (we had half board) was diverse and very good, with different specialities every night. During the dinner time we could enjoy dancing shows and live music. Special thanks to Mr. McDonald who was so kind to us. Special thanks to Amir who really tried to offer us the best options for check out and for always being there for every request.

All you need to relax… the hosts and staff were very helpful and kind, providing great experience and service overall. The food was also very good, from breakfast to dinner.

The staff were the best. The rooms were very spacious, a beautiful outdoor shower and a backside patio where you can relax and enjoy the weather. The hotel is very close to the beach. The breakfast and onsite restaurant were top notch.
