The service and the attention to the details were exceptional. Staff were trained so well and professionally did their part (job). It was if everyone knew exactly what our needs were at the exact time.

Getting there was very easy and easily accessible by a direct bullet train from Tokyo and then just bussing it up - they also have coaches available to take you to and from the JR station if requested. The room was amazingly clean and big - the food as well was very nice especially for a ryokan where the food can sometimes be a hit and miss. The public onsens were also very nice with amenities and drinks everywhere. The most impressive thing about our stay was definitely the service - everyone is very nice - we had Akira, who looked after us most and he was extremely kind and attentive during our stay. I usually dont think it makes a very large difference but this was something else. Last thing is we came on a Mon/Tues - which seems to be the quietest time for them, with maybe seeing around 6 or 7 other groups in total hanging around on Monday and a bit more on Tuesday - which we liked as the public onsens were basically empty if you came in the off peak times and the whole place was very quiet. Though there are alot of facilities catering for larger crowds inside the onsen and outside so if you do want a bit of atmosphere I would reccommend booking closer to the weekend. All in all our stay here was very nice and would definitely reccommend.

L'équipe est aux petits soins, même avec la difficulté de la langue tout s'est merveilleusement bien passé. Chambres hyper confortable. Ce fut pour nous une véritable expérience dans le monde traditionnel nippon. Chambre avec tatami, matelas futons d'une extrême qualité, personnel d'une extrême sympathie et services au top. Nous avons pu profiter de leurs merveilleux onsen naturels et veritables avec des eaux chaudes naturelles. Un vrai bonheur, nous ne manquerons pas d'y retourner sans hésiter. Les repas aussi sont merveilleux, dans la plus pure tradition japonaise. Une vraie découverte avec de vrais produits très frais.

Situé au milieu d'un magnifique jardin agrémenté d'un bassin à carpes koi, l'hôtel de style traditionnel japonais Haiya dispose de bains thermaux, de saunas japonais et de salles de karaoké. Les repas sont excellents, le personnel est au petit soin.

Food was good. Lounge was good. Food was good. Nothing to complain. Only thing if they have coin laundry will do wonders for me.
