Marvellous view of the city, sea, vulcan from the room. Fantastic breakfast in food quantity and quality, we ate outside on the patio of the breakfast restaurant. A lot of warm dishes, a lot of choice and also finest French patisserie. Fantastic onsen in the hotel. Fantastic nature and forest around the hotel. Very quiet at night. We used the bus coach to reach the city from the hotel, we also walked during the day through the pedestrian walk in the marvellous forest. To reach the entrance of the walk from the hotel, just follow the indication "Promenade" from the hotel: it is super easy: get out of the main entrance of the hotel, walk to the left, walk 100mt up to the kiosks selling tourist stuff, here follow indication "Promenade", it is other 70mt , and then take the path going down, it is not a road, it is very easy and very wide trail.

Kirishima Momijidani Seiryuso provides a hot spring bath and a public bath, as well as air-conditioned accommodation in Kirishima, 13 km from Ebino Plateau. The outdoor Onsen is very beautiful in the nature and the food is fabulous. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Facilities are a bit old but kept well and very clean.

Overlooking Kagoshima Bay, Hakusuikan boasts an outdoor pool and a variety of spacious indoor/outdoor hot-spring baths, including a Sunamushi sand hot-spring. The whole experience was wonderful. Dinner was abundant, onsen facilities were great and the room was huge!

Set in Yakushima, 32 km from Yakusugi Land and 50 km from Shiratani Unsuikyo, 2R Yakushima offers spacious air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi. We absolutely loved our stay here. The house is brand-new with a modern design, and our room was spacious, spotless, and included a tatami-floor bedroom with very comfortable beds. The host was so kind and always ready to help us with anything we needed. One of the highlights was the private onsen, which was very relaxing after our long day. The location is also fantastic: just a short walk to a beautiful lookout point and the famous Hirauchi Kaichū Onsen nearby. We truly enjoyed our time here and will definitely come back if we visit Yakushima again!

Set in Kirishima, the recently renovated 貸切温泉宿 Shiny inn Kirishimaシャイニーイン霧島 offers accommodation 3.6 km from Kirishima Jingu Shrine and 17 km from Ebino Plateau. Everything! Spacious, super clean, well, wonderful view, the owner was responsive and super nice, helped us with anything we needed. Everything about it was so convenient and comfortable. So many outlets, great Wi-Fi, washing machine, and of course, the highlight - a private onsen! Really a wonderful stay.

温泉の別荘 久遠霧島 is located in Kirishima. With free private parking, the property is 4.1 km from Kirishima Jingu Shrine and 18 km from Ebino Plateau. We loved the onsen bath, comfortable and well equipped house and the large decking and views.

Situated in Ibusuki and only 47 km from Kagoshima Chuo Station, 指宿 潮音 Ibusuki Shione features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Apartment was lovely, and large compared to a hotel room and everything you needed was available. Kitchen was good and washing machines was great. Beds were comfy and we liked the view. Enjoyed a coffee at the cafe on ground floor of building. Cafe & Bar Tetesan.
