Note travelling to the main tourist sites in Nikko may take up to an hour via public transport.

Everything is good, great view, each floor has smoking room, self check-in and check-out. Plenty breakfast options, 711 is door away from entrance. An excellent overall accommodation experience. Roof hot spa is a bonus, free noodles during night time.

Comfortable Accommodations: Onsen Guest House Tsutaya in Hakone offers comfortable rooms with private bathrooms, air conditioning, and mountain views. Everything was perfect! The capsule was very spacious and comfortable. The best one in whole Japan. The design of the Onsen and the whole Guesthouse in general is very cute and would love to go back.

47 km from Fuji-Q Highland in Hakone, Onsen & Garden -Asante Inn- features accommodation with access to a hot spring bath and public bath. Delicious breakfast and dinner and wonderful staff! It was my favorite place to stay during my solo trip. The atmosphere was warm, comfortable, and I was able to finish writing my novel here as it was so peaceful and calm. Very friendly staff and the other guests were also friendly and welcoming. I would love to stay here again in the future!

Kusatsu Onsen Eidaya is located in Kusatsu. The property is a 10-minute walk from Kusatsu Yubatake and Kusatsu-Onsen Bus Terminal. We stayed in one of the rooms with the private hot spring and it was so relaxing! Also great to try the other ones too for a full experience.
