This place is a real gem for relaxation. Our room had a great view to the Biwa lake, comfy beds, and an open air bath. Our first dinner was a 10+ plate Kaiseki menu, and as our second dinner we chose crab shabu shabu, which was excellent as well. Tried public onsens (indoor and outdoor pools), private onsen, and massage. Wore Yukatas the whole time :) All public and private areas were exceptionally spacious. The staff were very welcoming. There was a shuttle to/from the nearest train station.

Biwako Ryokusuitei offers Japanese-style/Western rooms with Lake Biwako views, a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. Wow! Such an amazing stay! Great experience with a private onsen in front of the lake. The room was very beautiful Japanese styled, and super clean. The breakfast was one of the best we had!

Yumotokan se nachází na ideálním místě ve čtvrti Ogoto Onsen v destinaci Ocu. Chrám Enrjakudži se nachází 16 km daleko, Hora Hiei 17 km a Chrám Shōren-in 19 km. The 11F Onsen is the best!! The view is extraordinary, also the water's heat is very fine. The full set dinner also gives lots of Japanese taste I was looking for. There's also transportation provided by Yumotokan for arriving and departing customers to the nearest station.

Dantokan Kikunoya se nachází 5 minut jízdy od stanice JR Ogoto Onsen a nabízí termální koupel. Na vyžádání je k dispozici bezplatná doprava ze stanice. The staff here are incredible. They went above and beyond to help us celebrate our honeymoon. I was so grateful for how hard they all worked and how kind they all were. We also got the breakfast service in our room, which was excellent, and they provided several drinks in the fridge for us for free. They shuttled us from the station and back to it, and we were even sent off by the staff at the end of our stay. So friendly and welcoming. Also, our deluxe suite had the private open air bath, and I can't recommend that enough. It was so relaxing and incredible. Lastly, I personally loved the toiletries and additional things that came with the room (shampoo, straightener, beverages, yukata, pajamas, etc.)

KAMENOI HOTEL Hikone poskytuje pokoje v destinaci Hikone. Jen 2,7 km odtud se nachází Hrad Hikone a Vlakové nádraží Maibara je 6 km daleko. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. We had some delay in reaching the accommodations, but they allowed us to have our dinner right as we entered, before checking in. They also helped us to call a taxi to the train station on our last day. My mother left an item behind, and they kindly mailed it over to my address in Tokyo after we left! Compliments to the chef, the food every breakfast and dinner were so delicious, and my family and I got to try many local delicacies in the comfort of the hotel :) My parents also enjoyed their very first experience of onsen here!

Offering an outdoor pool, indoor/outdoor hot spring baths and 6 restaurants and bars, Biwako Hotel is located a 5-minute walk from Keihan Hamaotsu Train Station. Absolutely satisfied with the hotel in terms of the location, the cleanliness, the comfort, the room view, the interior design, as well as their dinner and breakfast. Our rooms had a great view of Lake Biwa and we took a wonderful stroll along the lakeside in the morning. We had breakfast and dinner in the hotel. They had a wide variety of tasty food there while a number of other restaurants and cafes were within walking distance as well.
