United KingdomThe owners are very kind, subtly attentive and polite. The building and grounds are beautiful and extremely well kept. The rooms have very comfortable beds and pillows. All rooms have clever key fobs that work for the room and front door. There is a breakfast lounge come bar, which although I didn’t use it, in the evening you can have a drink and leave a note to say what you’ve had (I like this honesty system). The owners are clearly breakfast people and take huge pride in making it special and it really was. There was a lot to choice from and all clearly excellent quality food and drink. Afterwards I was also given two cakes with a takeaway bag, really nice touch. There is a coffee machine in the room with high quality cups which are branded and match the sugar and cream (I like those touches). They have animals (two goats and a donkey) in an adjacent field) so if you stay with children they will love that. There is an elegant style and attention to detail about all aspects of the place. I will definitely stay again, will look forward to it.
