CanadaThe shuttle driver who helped my family and get all our luggage to the hotel after a really long flight was amazing. We had 8 pieces of checked luggage and four boxes containing bicycles that we moved back after a year long stay in Australia. Detroit was the last stop due to the Air Canada strike and we were exhausted. The driver kindly waited for us to get the luggage to the shuttle and helped us load everything in. This was so appreciated. The checkin was also great even though there were issues with our booking.com reservation as we had to push back an extra day due to a cancelled flight. The hotel was able to sort it out. We were so tired and ended up sleeping in. The hotel was gracious with extending our checkout time the next day without extra cost. We ended up staying a second night so we could get a bit more rest and take in a Tiger's game. It was great. The uber was about $60-70 to the city so that is something to consider if you plan to use this as a home base for sightseeing without a care. The kids enjoyed the pool and the large atrium style hotel with natural light and tons of space was a great place to hang out and relax a bit. The staff running the breakfast buffet was also friendly and provided some nice coffee. Overall an excellent experience. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to other weary travellers who want an easy, comfortable rest.

EcuadorI am a 71-year-old woman traveling alone. The hotel is five minutes from the airport with a shuttle leaving every hour. The breakfast was sufficient, especially for the price. There is a Wendy's restaurant right next door. My flight was cancelled TWICE, causing me to need to extend my stay. All the staff went out of their way to help me. I was a hotel maid in college and I was impressed with the cleanliness. This is also one of the least expensive hotels in the area. I recommend it very much,

The location was ideal for an early-morning drop-off at the airport - it was only about a 3-minute ride to the terminal. The kitchenette was helpful, especially the fridge. We enjoyed standing in the parking lot and watching planes on their approach to DTW.

The Hotel in general is lacking of maintenance and cleaning. They offer parking bur because of The City regulations, all the cars must be parked at the Airport Parking lot. And no one tells you before arriving at the hotel.

Beautiful decor and artwork. Free happy hour drinks and snacks. Extremely friendly staff (and guests!) Nice, large room. Very clean. Comfortable beds. airconditioning worked well. Beautiful, extremely clean pool/jacuzzi/gym. Great location. Quiet. Nice lobby. Free parking. Good dining options. excellent hotel restaurant. Excellent breakfast with REAL plates and silverware separate this hotel from the pack (environmentally more friendly)

Super close to the airport and airport parking lots. Full-size fridge in the room (great if you must stay multiple days). Spacious. The front-desk worker (Shannon) was a sweetheart! Full stars to her!
