Albion Hotel, a family-run hotel in the centre of Ieper, is 350 metres from the Menin Gate. It features free high-speed WiFi, an intimate bar and packed lunch services. I feel I stumbled onto a precious gem! We had a last minute detour to Ypres and I booked the Albion because of its proximity to the Menin gate. I can’t say enough about the hospitality of this family run hotel. When I think of our short stay in Ypres I may remember chatting with Daphne at the Albion desk and bar as much as our visit to the Flanders Museum just around the corner! Besides the kindness of the owners, our room was modern but with architectural features that honored the past. The high tech skylight looked up on the steeple of the nearby church. The bar was comfortable with great local beers. And be sure to include breakfast! A spread worthy of the cost. Thank you Daphne and the entire family for your hospitality!

Great position, clean, attractive refurbished and extended old building, super friendly and helpful staff - my second stay and intentionally - A great family run hotel - and it shows.

Hotel Ambrosia is situated in the heart of the beautiful town of Ypres. Vincent, your host, will be happy to welcome you in this small, charming, family-run hotel. This is such a pleasant and comfortable hotel; and the owners and staff were delightful. It is conveniently situated within a couple of minutes of the Cloth Hall/Menin Gate etc. A superb base for visiting Ypres/Ieper and surrounding area.

Located in Téteghem, DOMITYS La Capeline offers accommodation with a heated pool and private parking. A gem of a place. After months of travel we needed a nice place to stay for a while to recoup and have a break from hotels full of excited children and equally excited yapping dogs. La Capeline fulfilled this requirement and more. Everyone here from personnel to residents are welcoming and friendly despite our extremely limited French language skills. Lovely amenities and a dream to be able to swim in a super clean, quiet, swimming pool. If you're looking for a good base to explore Dunkirk away from the busy centre La Capeline is perfect. Secure designated parking and Lidl store opposite to make life even easier. Would recommend Domitys to anyone looking for self contained accommodation in a nice safe, quiet environment. Poppies Flats is situated in Ypres, 26 km from St Philibert Metro Station, 30 km from Zoo Lille, and 31 km from Phalempins Metro Station. This property is a must stay if your visiting Ieper. Well above expectations! Location is perfect and rooms were perfect. Also they have private parking, which was exellent because we drove from England and took the ferry.
