El Albion Hotel es un alojamiento de gestión familiar situado en el centro de Ypres, a 350 metros de la Puerta de Menin. I feel I stumbled onto a precious gem! We had a last minute detour to Ypres and I booked the Albion because of its proximity to the Menin gate. I can’t say enough about the hospitality of this family run hotel. When I think of our short stay in Ypres I may remember chatting with Daphne at the Albion desk and bar as much as our visit to the Flanders Museum just around the corner! Besides the kindness of the owners, our room was modern but with architectural features that honored the past. The high tech skylight looked up on the steeple of the nearby church. The bar was comfortable with great local beers. And be sure to include breakfast! A spread worthy of the cost. Thank you Daphne and the entire family for your hospitality!

Firstly, the people were excellent. Friendly from the moment we walked through the door, both at the front desk and in the restaurant. The rooms had everything you need, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the room was clean . Oh, the restaurant dinner was first class! The lamb was done perfectly and the vegetables were delicious!

Huyze Vinteling, ubicado en Ypres, a 6,2 km de Puerta de Menin y a 36 km de Estación de metro Phalempins, tiene alojamiento con wifi gratis, aire acondicionado, un jardín y una terraza. Exceptional in every way! We would thoroughly recommend this B&B to anyone. Lovely helpful host, fantastic bedroom and wonderful breakfast. For the quality of experience it is value for money too.

It was a spacious quiet hotel with large apartments which were very comfortable with plenty of room to spread out. Good fridges very very handy. And a nice small kitchen area to make tea and coffee. The location is peaceful. And we heard no noise, from the hotel or from the road outside . It felt safe and a nice place to be, I wish we could have stayed longer.

Poppies Flats está ubicado en Ypres y ofrece alojamiento a 8 minutos a pie de Puerta de Menin, a 26 km de Estación de metro St. Philibert y a 30 km de Zoológico de Lille. Great location in Ypres. Close to shops and restaurants. Everything was very walkable. Very recently renovated and spacious apartment. It was clean and well looked after. The balcony was also a nice addition and it was lovely to sit out in the sun. Bonus was that the building had an elevator, which was nice as I didn't need to lug my heavy suitcase up the stairs.

The host was unable to meet us to handover keys, but we were made aware in advance and clear instructions were provided to locate the keys in a key safe adjacent to the property. Parking (free) was permitted immediately outside the property. Very clean and tidy apartment and was ideally located, very close to the attraction we were visiting.

Muy bonito, amplio y luminoso. La decoración es moderna y cuidada al detalle, lo que hace que te sientas como en casa desde el primer momento. La ubicación no puede ser mejor: en pleno centro, con todo a mano. Además, está súper bien equipado, no le falta de nada. Perfecto para una estancia cómoda y agradable. ¡Totalmente recomendable!
