Firstly, the people were excellent. Friendly from the moment we walked through the door, both at the front desk and in the restaurant. The rooms had everything you need, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the room was clean . Oh, the restaurant dinner was first class! The lamb was done perfectly and the vegetables were delicious!

After months of travel we needed a nice place to stay for a while to recoup and have a break from hotels full of excited children and equally excited yapping dogs. La Capeline fulfilled this requirement and more. Everyone here from personnel to residents are welcoming and friendly despite our extremely limited French language skills. Lovely amenities and a dream to be able to swim in a super clean, quiet, swimming pool. If you're looking for a good base to explore Dunkirk away from the busy centre La Capeline is perfect. Secure designated parking and Lidl store opposite to make life even easier. Would recommend Domitys to anyone looking for self contained accommodation in a nice safe, quiet environment. Poppies Flats ligger i Ieper, 8 minuters promenad från The Menin Gate, 26 km från St Philibert tunnelbanestation och 30 km från Parc zoologique de Lille. This property is a must stay if your visiting Ieper. Well above expectations! Location is perfect and rooms were perfect. Also they have private parking, which was exellent because we drove from England and took the ferry.
