They upgraded us for free to a bigger chalet with a hot tub. They prepared a log fire for us to use outside. And we had a barbecue. Everything inside the chalet was shiny and new. Who could ask for more! Great value for money and all round wonderful experience.

A real gem. Very kind hosts, really good sauna/jacuzzi. You feel and see that the hosts are taking care of the property with a lot of love and considerate of society/environment. Breakfast was included. Would propose to also include a muesli/porridge option to the available breakfast options (current options: different egg breakfasts, French toast, bagel and crepe for kids).

We had expected it to be on the other side of the river, but taking the ferry was not much of an inconvenience as we never had to wait very long and the ferry crossed quickly.

Matatagpuan sa Saint Aime Des Lacs, 15 km mula sa Hautes-Gorges-de-la-Rivière-Malbaie National Park, ang Le Relais des Hautes Gorges ay nagtatampok ng accommodation na may seasonal na outdoor swimming... A fabulous place to stay. The hosts Kevin and Frank were just great - helpful, accomodating, and good company. It's the sort of place where you end up on first name terms with most of the other people staying there! We had one of the 'motel' rooms - recently rennovated, really well done. Breakfast was included and was excellent - continental buffet style, lots of local produce. And you're only a 15 min drive away from the entrance to the national park - which is just stunning.

Incredible views of the water/Bay, friendliest and helpful hosts and the breakfast was amazing! The room is very nicely decorated and comphy with an incredible property and nearby trails to discover.

When being a host as well, you tend to look at accommodations with a more critical eye. The only problem that I can say I didn't have the opportunity to stay more than 1 night. I will definitely plan a return stay and the next time stay longer. When giving feed back on this accommodation the charts just don't go high enough. Definitely off the charts. The morning breakfast was better than any 5 start hotel I have stayed. Unfortunetly there is no way to judge the view because the view is one to be cherished. I don't know when I will return, I just know it can't be soon enough.
