The owners greeted us and they were very nice although they don't speak English. The furniture looked new and the room was nicely decorated. The kitchen was fully equipped and very spacious. The beds were comfortable and the room was warm (we visited in winter).

Bergwerksilo Herznach, a property with a garden and a shared lounge, is set in Herznach, 33 km from Roman Town of Augusta Raurica, 42 km from Schaulager, as well as 42 km from Kunstmuseum Basel. Very Unique stay, converted iron ore silo. Staff was fantastic and accomadating. We actually wish we had arived a little earlier as we would have gone on one of the mine tours in the little train, but thats on us, we could not make an earlier arrival possible.

The accommodations were not just clean but absolutely spotless and our room was cozy, spacious and very comfortable. We were allowed to use the full kitchen and living room and porch in addition to our room and that was such a treat for us on our long trip. The best part you ask? The best part was Hedi our host who we instantly adored. She is a gracious, funny, kind and friendly force of nature who made sure we were comfortable, offered touring and local information and provided us with a full delicious breakfast. There are some people and places that enhance a trip in special ways that you know you will never forget. Staying at B&B Stirnimann and meeting Hedi will hold a special place in our memory and we hope to return someday.

Boasting a terrace and views of mountain, River Residence is an apartment set in a historic building in Baden, 25 km from Swiss National Museum. Everything was perfect. Marco contacted us before our arrival with clear instructions how to get into the building and gave us full support and some suggestions upon arrival. Would definitely come back again.
