The house is made from an old cow barn, very chic and cozy, well furnished and equipped with everything you may need. Bamboo screens divide the large space elegantly so that the bed is nicely located in privacy. Also lovely books and postcards in the collection. As a passer by, I also liked that the house is conveniently located from the highway, which makes it the best stop for driving from north to the south.

Set within the Baroque-style centre of Solothurn, Boutique Hotel La Couronne is one of the oldest hotels of Switzerland and was completely renovated in 2016. Very friendly and professional staff. Perfect location, beautiful rooms and very comfortable sleep. Lovingly and stylishly furnished rooms. The breakfast buffet is excellent.

Otherwise, the pizzeria next door has an à la carte menu for lunch and evening dinner. On request, I could park the car for free for the whole day, after checking out.
