Hostal Casa Damasco se encuentra en Ancud, a 15 min a pie de Playa Arena Gruesa, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis y salón de uso común. The location was amazing. Literally like 1 minute to the coast from the hostel(walking) and only a few blocks from the artisanal market and to the towns’ busy area. The house was decorated beautifully and was very spacious. The host Raúl was very intelligent, well mannered, and informative. Though, I didn’t use it, he offers tours in his Hostel (penguins, the town, etc). Very good communication with him and he recommended us good places to eat and where to visit within Ancud and where to go afterwards. The beds were comfy and the bathroom was perfect. Private parking available upon request. Central AC in the house, so we slept nice and warm.

Cabañas y hostal Aurora está a 1,9 km de Playa Sabanilla y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, terraza y cocina compartida. El lodge ofrece wifi y parking privado, ambos gratis. La casa de Pamela es preciosa, nos sentimos muy cómodos en todo momento, la habitación y las camas son muy agradables. Pamela y su familia estuvieron muy atentos y nos ayudaron a solucionar un problema que tuvimos con el auto, incluso llamaron al vecino por lo que estamos muy agradecidos. Toda la experiencia estuvo increible, gracias!!!

Lovely hostel with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I loved the kitchen - big, homey, and filled with everything you need to cook. The staff wonderful - helpful, patient, and kind! The hostel arranged a penguin tour and kayaking tour for me - both a lot of fun. The hostel is located right across the street from Bus Sur Station so if you are planning to travel here by bus from Castro or Puerto Montt, take Bus Sur! It's alos located just a few blocks from the shore and from many restaurants, supermarket, and cafes.

Cabañas Lomas de Ten Ten es un alojamiento frente a la playa que se encuentra en Castro, a 18 km de Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de los Dolores y a 26 km de Iglesia de Nuestra Señora del Rosario de... La casa es estupenda, tiene vistas al lago, barbacoa y toda la infraestructura necesaria para una estancia cómoda y placentera. Beatriz es rápida en la comunicación y efectiva en brindar soluciones. Muy recomendada.

This is, without a doubt, the best hostel I’ve ever stayed at in my entire traveling history, and I’ve visited over 50 countries! The house itself is stunning, filled with beautiful artwork in every corner, creating a warm and creative atmosphere. Everything is impeccably clean, and the location is perfect for exploring. But what made my experience truly unique and unforgettable was the host, Miguel. He is, if not the best, one of the most wonderful people I’ve ever met in my life. Kind, hospitable, generous, kind-hearted, cheerful, and easygoing. I don’t have enough adjectives to describe how amazing he is! Thanks to him, I learned so much about Chilean traditions, especially those of Chiloé, as well as its gastronomy and history. If I ever return to Chile (and I definitely will!), I’ll make sure to come back to Castro just to see Miguel again. This place isn’t just a hostel; it’s a home away from home, thanks to the incredible host. 100% recommended!
