The Senda Watapuy is stunning. From the moment you walk up to the main building you’re greeted by an incredible view overlooking the pool towards the hills and lush forest. All the buildings and decor are beautiful and it really feels like a peaceful getaway, and still within walking distance of Tayrona Park. The restaurant and bar were also great. We had breakfast and dinner here every day and the food and drinks were delicious. We loved every bit of our stay.

Staff is super customer oriented, being in the jungle was a great change for us after Cartagena and Santa Marta, overall we enjoyed the hotel and tours around very much.

Food was very good. The staff were wonderful. The hike to the waterfall was super challenging and fun. The guide was amazing! Loved everything about the place.

Ubicato a El Zaino, a 500 metri da Playa Castilletes, Zirwa Hotel Boutique - Dentro del Parque Tayrona propone un giardino, un parcheggio privato gratuito e un ristorante. We arrived late afternoon which meant our room was ready straight away. The hotel were helpful in advance letting us of the park entrance ticket booth closing time which meant we arrived before closing time (5pm). The hotel is beautiful, the views are fantastic and the sky was clear both nights we were there which meant we could stargaze from our terrace. It was super quiet and peaceful. Right by one of the main entrances to the park, easy to find and very easy to start our hike into the park early in the morning. They have a pingpong table and board games in the dining room which were fun to play in the evenings too. We will be back!

El Santuario was the perfect home base for exploring Minca! Nora and José Luis have obviously put a lot of love into their hotel- they were exceptionally kind and provided us with everything we needed during our stay. We split three rooms between 5 friends, which was totally comfortable for us. We started every morning taking in the stunning views while enjoying a delicious home cooked breakfast- the birdwatching is unparalleled to any place I’ve visited before! It’s a quick 10 minute drive to the center of Minca- we had a car, but the hotel will happily arrange a mototaxi for you, which I took advantage of as i chose to stay an extra night after my travel mates departed. We ended our evenings using the ample common areas to sip tequila and reflect on our adventures. The evenings were cool enough that we wouldn’t have used a/c even if it was available. Of course there are some bugs, but what else would you expect staying in a rustic town in the middle of the jungle?? Other reviewers noting this as a con are obviously unused to accommodations that strive to be as ecologically mindful as possible to their natural environments.
