The views and scenery were breathtaking, the food was super tasty, and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. It was super quick and easy to get into town. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable.

Hostal El Quinde ligger i Salento, 35 km fra Technological University of Pereira og 35 km fra Pereira's Art Museum. The property was well equipped even with filter water for us to take. The twin room was cosy and comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was delicious and the options of activities was great. Jeremy took us on a tour of three different places in the area and we learned so much about the local history, super interesting. Would highly recommend :)

The room was so comfortable, clean, and had a nice view of the mountains. The staff were so friendly and kind - I had food posioning 2 days prior to arriving and they were so helpful and checked in on me often. The hot water shower was amazing and the bed was huge and comfortable. 10/10.

Riverside La Masía Ecohotel ligger i Quindío, 44 km fra Ukumari Zoo, og har en have, en terrasse og en bar samt gratis privat parkering. This has been one of our best travel experiences. The entire team are exceptional hosts - warm, friendly, attentive. They work so hard to make this a nice stay for everyone, no matter your age or background. La Masia has different types of rooms, and we had one of the smaller standard rooms. It was cozy and peaceful, and the space outside is just fabulous. There are multiple benches and hammocks to hang out, or you just roam the beautiful garden with its trees full of birds, or have a chat with one of the staff (which was possible despite our bad Spanish!) They also have a good kitchen, with a hearty Colombian breakfast in the morning and solid Colombian dishes in the evening. And someone is always there to make you a coffee or tea in the afternoon and tell you to relax. Note that this hotel is located a bit outside of the town of Salento - but that makes it even better. You will not find the same peace in the town after a day of hiking or exploration. It's absolutely worth paying an Uber/ Taxi. There is a kiosk nearby where you can buy snacks and water, or you walk to the main road to grab a bite. It's a safe and village-like community where everyone greets you on the way.
