Casa Sol se nachází v destinaci Sarapiquí a může se pochlubit patiem. Catarata Tesoro Escondido se nachází jen 45 km daleko a La Paz Waterfall Gardens 45 km. GREAT Location near the tropical forest preserves and the Sarapiqui River, right near the Best Chocolate Farm, where we also took a night hike, and just down the road from Aventuras del Sarapiqui (excellent whitewater rafting). It's a private house off the main road and I was worried about dogs barking as mentioned in some other reviews, but it was not a problem at all. It's a split level with two separate sleeping spaces, king bed in upstairs room and queen bed in the downstairs room, each having their own bathroom with showers. The main kitchen/dining area was great for preparing easy meals: rice and beans for dinners and fried egg sandwiches for breakfast. And best of all is our host, Maria who has been SO accommodating and friendly. We just message each other through WhatsApp (I use Google Translate to convert from her Spanish to my English). It's not a luxury hotel but instead a very artistically decorated two bedroom apartment and I highly recommend.

A family of 4+ could easily move in here and live comfortably. The back decks are beautiful to just sit and watch the jungle. It is a little way down the road from the city, which means it is quiet and very laid back. I had both a breakfast and a dinner while at the guest house. Both were great portions with a lot of variety, tasty, and well worth the money. Unfortunately, my schedule and Wendy's schedule didn't align for her bird tour. There was lots of flora and fauna to explore. My personal sightings included Toucans and a Morpha butterfly. I'm willing to bet that there was a lot I missed that Wendy could have found and shared!

Finca Rosa Blanca Coffee Farm and Inn se nachází v Heredii, 10 km od mezinárodního letiště Juan Santamaria, a nabízí ubytování s restaurací na farmě až ke stolu, nekonečný bazén na svahu s pramenem,... Incredible property. Wonderful rooms and facilities. Should have stayed longer! Spa, pool and views were amazing. Definitely recommend coffee tour and tasting. Staff super friendly and helpful. A great experience

The hosts were gracious and kind, and the grounds were beautiful! If we return and need a place to say in the San Jose area this will be at the top of the list!

We stayed here two nights, and we loved it! The cottages are as cute as in the pictures, and very clean. It was a bit cold when we were there, so we had the chance of lighting a fire in the fireplace of the room (wood and stuffs to light a fire is provided in the room), which made the evenings extra special. The staff is very welcoming, and the restaurant very good. All in all, a delightful stay!

Eco Guest House- Sarapiquí 2 se může pochlubit výhledem na hory a nabízí ubytování s terasou a varnou konvicí. La Paz Waterfall Gardens se nachází přibližně 35 km odtud. Wendy’s place is incredible, a beautiful house, private and surrounded by nature. The nights were with perfect temperature and you sleep with the sound of nature, something we needed to get accustomed with. But we had the best sleep for 4 nights! We booked the full experience with breakfast and dinners brought dearly by Wendy’s mom, who was a bit like our mom too. If you speak a bit of spanish, this will stay as your favorite memory of the house, like for us. The waterfall of the neighbour’s property is also superb and had it just for us, is bigger than it looks on photos! We also saw some toucans from the balcony and hummingbirds. A little paradise we recommend to everyone.

The staff were friendly, rooms spacious and very clean, brand new bathroom with huge shower, strong A/C, and best of all, the most beautiful grounds.
