Situated in Äkäslompolo, 41 km from Kolari Train Station, Arctic Skylight Lodge features accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. Tot ha estat fantàstic. L’allotjament té poques habitacions i estàs al mig del bosc, cosa que transmet molta pau. El tracte del personal excel·lent. Tot i no dominar l’anglès ens vam entendre perfectament. Molt recomanable.

The apartment was clean and had everything we needed for our trip. Sauna was lovely after a long day on the hill. There is a locker downstairs for all ski/snow equipment, as well as a room for waxing and fixing snowboards which was great! being able to do laundry and use the drying cabinet was also very useful. bed were comfortable and we got plenty of good sleep.

Wow for the price I payed this was terrific! I wasn't expecting a private sauna in the bathroom when I booked (I'm not sure if they advertise that clearly but it was definitely a cool bonus) it heated up properly too (100C+). Facilities are great, lots of cutlery and plates etc, new kitchen facilities. It worked great for me as a night stopover on my road trip.

Offering 5 log cottages by Ylläs Mountain, Tunturioravat is a 5-minute walk from central Äkäslompolo. All cottages have wooden interiors, free Wi-Fi access and a private sauna. We had an absolutely perfect stay. The apartment was spotless, very cosy, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. We felt at home right away. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it.
