Offering a garden and garden view, Château de Salornay is situated in Hurigny, 7.1 km from Mâcon Exhibition Centre and 48 km from Ainterexpo. Our hosts were lovely and the Chateau is beautiful. Breakfast was excellent. The coffee machine was great. They produce their own wine, which is delicious. We bought two bottles to take with us on the rest of our holiday, and then purchased a case on our way home.

Boasting a bar and views of garden, Mansio VitAE is a bed and breakfast set in a historic building in Nolay, 21 km from Hospices Civils de Beaune. The house is full of character and history but the room had modern heating, a comfortable bed and a great bathroom. We also really enjoyed our breakfast and chat to the host in the grand but not imposing dining room. We only stayed one night but the town and surrounds we saw on the way out made us wish we were staying longer.

The property is situated in a picturesque and very quiet location among vineyards where we finally managed to recharge after an intense travel. The hosts are amazing and the guys made us a very special dinner with local products (some even from their garden!) paired with glasses of local wine and even wine which is produced by the host's sister so don’t miss an opportunity to try it. One more thanks for the pickled vegetables you gave us as a gift ❤️
