The Moorland Hotel, Haytor, Devon - The Coaching Inn Group oferece jardim, lounge compartilhado, terraço e restaurante em Haytor. We have stayed in a number of hotels in the Coaching Inn chain but this was by far the best. The location was perfect being situated in the heart of Dartmoor. The facilities excellent. The restaurant was extremely well appointed with a variety of comfortable chairs and sofas. The staff were brilliant and very accommodating when asked for variations to the menu.

Parking area was close and well lit. Room was very clean and comfortable. Staff were very nice and attentive. Food was very good and helpings were quite substantial. Our room had a lovely balcony with a table and seating just a pity it was raining. We left early morning so missed breakfast but I’m sure breakfast would have been excellent.

The Mason Arms is located on Devon’s Jurassic Coast, just a 10-minute walk from Branscombe Beach. Our 10/10 stay at this place started the night we arrived. After a somewhat harrowing drive in the dark/rain/fog down a tiny road we were exhausted. The lovely man (Dan who it turns out was just filling in but did a bang up job) at the check in just took us straight to our (out of this world) room and said "Check in in the morning, no problem" and handed us a pot of cream (... this is for your coffee/tea). The room itself was huge and gorgeous with a full sitting room area, mini kitchen and a giant king sized bed that was so comfortable I would still be there if I could. The bathroom had a great shower and a giant bath tub. We stumbled across to the pub and (although it was past kitchen closing) the chef made us a lovely salmon dinner. Things just got better from there - gorgeous full breakfasts, lovely dinners, kind and caring staff EVERYWHERE. The town is tiny but stunning with plenty of interesting historical buildings and great hikes both around the area and over to the next town (charmingly called Beer). Thank you to Dan, Sophie, Connor and Hannah for making our stay so incredibly special.

Este hotel do século XVIII está situado no centro de South Molton. A propriedade combina características originais com confortos modernos e oferece lareiras, Wi-Fi gratuito, estacionamento de cortesia... Fabulous breakfast! Accommodating options for dinner especially when one comes without wheels so can only eat in town. Lovely room. A treat to have tea & coffee (plus biscuits) available at any time. Should I ever find myself returning to this area, I won't hesitate to stay here again.

O The Hoops Inn & Country Hotel é uma propriedade tombada, de Grau II, situada em uma área campestre a 5 minutos de carro de uma trilha costeira panorâmica. We were in the area for one night and were delighted to find this gem! We live in Germany so staying in a country pub/hotel is always a treat for us, and this did not disappoint. We have 2 little dogs who were very welcome in both the pub and the room (and were even given treats and a cheeky sausage by the wonderful staff!). Our check in was smooth and we were able to book a table for dinner with ease. The staff were all super attentive and engaging. The room was comfortable and was everything we needed - even if the bed was a tad small, it still provided us with a solid nights sleep. However, without a doubt, the pinnacle of this stay was the food!! It was EXCEPTIONAL! And this is not exceptional for a pub, it was exceptional compared to anything! The duck was genuinely one of the best cooked and tastiest we’ve ever had! We’ve already recommended it to people and we are seeing how we can visit again on our next visit. Whether you stay for a night or not, the food HAS to be tried! Book a table and thank us later!

Amei a localização, a casa, o quarto, o ótimo café da manhã, acama e tudo mais. Obrigado Jayne! Você é maravilhosa.

Melbury Rooms & Studios fornece quartos em Exeter. Sandy Park fica a 6,4 km de distância e Newton Abbot Racecourse fica a 27 km. Perfect place. Spotlessly clean. The staff are wonderful, very kind and helpful. The studio I stayed at for four nights was ideal for a solo traveller. Thank you ever so much!

The Beatrice room we stayed was beautiful, very clean, comfortable very tastefully decorated , bed was very large and very comfortable couldn't fault it , will be returning soon
