We stayed in Room 1 and it was huge. Beautifully decorated with a comfortable bed and lovely White Company bedding. So many quality touches. An excellent breakfast with plenty of choice and cooked to order. Evelyn was a super host.

Friendly welcome, Rooms are very comfortable and cosy. Bed is comfortable, feather duvets and pillows, quality bedding. We had room 5 at the side of the pub in the more modern part. Think this was quieter than the front rooms (but village road is quiet at night.). All meals were excellent and staff very amenable to personal food choices. We ate in the pub in the evenings, plenty of choice, though menu didn’t vary while we were there. Dog friendly 👍. Staff were all great and willingly shared their local knowledge. Bus X3 has stops nearby for easy access to Canterbury and Faversham. We would happily stay there again.

Besides the very friendly and helpful hosts, the room was very clean, spacious and well furnished. The ensuite bathroom was unusually large (including bathtub) and fully equipped with amenities. There was also a kitchenette just outside our room (separate room) with various foodstuffs (granola, fruit, soya milk etc), which meant we could have a good breakfast (this was a pleasant surprise since breakfast had not been mentioned in the booking). Location was good, since it was walking distance from the main sites.
