Traditional hotel in a perfect position in the nice village of Metsovo. We had a room with a private veranda, a wonderful view over the mountains. The family run this simple and cozy place, with an authentic old greek atmosphere. Gorgeous home made breakfast. All the staff's people are very charming and helpfull. Private parking for free. Great value for money.

Great location inside the castle walls and close to hundreds of cafes and eating places. Easy walking distance to town and the lake. Staff were exceptional..always cheerful and willing to help. Changed breakfast when they realised we weren't eating the bread and sweet foods and provided fresh fruit, yoghurt salad and eggs instead. Highly recommend Hotel Kastro.

Situated in the heart of Ioannina, this exclusive hotel offers fine dining, luxurious and elegant accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool. Free WiFi is available throughout. The room was nicely decorated in a traditional, local style that gave it a unique touch. It was also very clean and well kept. I really enjoyed the breakfast buffet, especially the local pies and desserts. My favorite part of the stay was having coffee by the pool in the morning with the city view in the distance. I also appreciated the delicious welcome treats, and the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

The place was wonderful! Great for families, a nearby parking, great location near all the interesting places in the old city, the lake and taverns. The room was super clean, with modern design, comfortable beds and super great shower. We will be back for sure!
